Clara spent years being treated terribly by her tyrant older sister, Enefia. Even their parents always sided with the sister, so despite living in the Astraia Baron’s house, Clara never truly had a place there.
One day, Enefia gets engaged to a powerful nobleman. Clara feels relieved, thinking this finally means she’ll be free from her sister’s cruelty. But things don’t get better. Enefia keeps fooling around with other men, and worried that the fiancé might find out, their parents force Clara to keep an eye on her.
No matter how hard Clara tries, disaster still happens—her sister ends up pregnant with another man’s child. The engagement is canceled, Enefia runs away, and the Astraia family is left with massive debt and the anger of the powerful nobleman. To pay it back, Clara is sold to a cruel noble and suffers terrible torture, eventually dying.
“If I could start over… this time, I’ll definitely kill you!”
When Clara opens her eyes again, she realizes time has gone back to the day of her sister’s engagement. Now with a strong determination to change her fate, Clara decides to fight back against her sister’s cruelty and do everything she can to stop the terrible future from happening.
