However, this time she was stopped by her former husband, Carlothian.

Ironically, in the original story, he was the one who killed her. Yet now, Carlothian repeatedly interferes with her attempts to end her life.
“Why won’t you kill me like you did in the original story…?”
And so begins the story of Ariadeline, a villainess who lost her dream, and Carlothian, her cold yet secretly caring former husband, as they try to rewrite their tragic and misunderstood love story.
