In Country H, the Juvenile Law was revised so that minors can now receive a maximum sentence of life imprisonment. Instead of traditional prison, however, underage offenders are sent to a so-called rehabilitation center known as the “Juvenile Reformatory.”
But this system, punishment in name only, ends up backfiring—leading to a sharp rise in juvenile crime and school bullying.
Gen Amamori, a high school student in Country H, endures relentless bullying every day. Then one day, his beloved dog is brutally killed by a dog owned by his tormentor, Kanemoto. Pushed beyond his limits, Gen finally snaps and leaves Kanemoto seriously injured—an act that lands him inside the Reformatory.
Yet even there, Gen finds himself at the very bottom of the food chain, constantly beaten and abused. Everything changes when a chance encounter brings him under the wing of Seiya Kojo, the strongest man in the facility.
In a place where violence is the only rule, can Gen survive?
This is the story of a boy who must claw his way up from rock bottom.
