SUMMARY

Through a political marriage, Raffy becomes the wife of Cyrus, the king’s illegitimate son. But her husband shows her no interest. Instead, he keeps the saint Grace by his side, leaving Raffy to spend her days in loneliness and humiliation.

Then one day, Cyrus is poisoned—and Raffy is falsely accused and executed.
